So we let Clemson score right before half and they get the ball after half its just such a shame this secondary sucks so bad
What was the logic having Maddox play press coverage when Clemson is at the 10 yd line. Everyone already knows our DBs can't play it and it wasn't necessary there anyway??
How many times have the announcers said that the DB's were in position but didn't turn their heads around. Narduzzi has been saying that all year.

I'm ok with the first run, Conner could've broken off a big one, but the second one made no sense. Too little time.
Well, the good news is, Pitt is competing with the #2 team in the country, on the road, in a really hostile environment, on national TV. Recruits have to be enthused by what they are seeing. There is an energy and excitement to this game, and I could see wanting to play for Pitt, knowing the future will be better.
The coaches did adjust in the secondary, Clemson countered by running an out with Williams.
This game will be won or lost in the next 15 minutes. Who makes the adjustments? I am proud as hell of this team for that effort but we have to finally out adjust a team and win a big game. If we don't make any adjustments to our coverage, simple we lose if we do something just a little different we have a chance. Like Brian Griese said Ckemson may not run again so it's allow any adjustments the secondary makes.

The DL is not getting any push. Need to start running an inside blitz while the DL are engaged with the OL.
Have you been watching. The announcers even mentioned PITT switched up the coverage, but Clemson just changed the play to a quick out to Williams. They had the safeties offering inside help.
When will the trick play be taken out of the bag? Onside kick at halftime?

Watson is pretty special. Pitt intercepting him twice in a half is one of the bigger shockers of the season.
No I am just imaging it all. Ok maybe they made a change on a play or two but they need to make a major adjustment at half to win this not for a series or two
Pitt's defensive line is decimated. It's not fair to expect them to provide consistent pressure
Everyone saying Pitt would be competitive with Clemson I give u props. There's a whole half to go but they have played well better than I expected. We may end up losing by more than 20 who knows but if I was betting I'd say we'll win or lose by 4. I just hope Clemson doesn't have the ball with 2 minutes to go down 6
For sure. I'm not sure the change needs to happen in the secondary as much as along the DL. No push means an easy day for Watson.
