I will ask again. Is Pitt playing the normal Pitt defense only with very poor defensive players or is Pitt playing a much softer (less in your face) defense because we have poor defensive players?
It looks to me that we are giving too much cushion because we are afraid people will get past us. This makes things much easier on the offensive player. He can play basically without being pressured. Many times this year opponents would fumble the ball and still have time to recover it. This is because we are so worried about getting passed that we make no plays on the ball. A team needs to if not create turnovers, at last play close enough to take advantage of opponent misplays.
