Pitt-Duke Game Tread

Everyone keeps saying how great Boyd's hands are. For someone with great hands he sure drops a lot of balls that hit his hands. That would of been a tough catch but if you have great hands you catch that ball.

PETERMAN MISSED TWO KEY PASSES TO BOYD, NOT CHANEY!
Very true about Peterman. Also agree about Boyd. Potential GW drive in the bowl game last year, Boyd literally dropped the easiest catch he would've ever made. Undeniable how great he is, but I don't think his hands flat out are all that great. Does make some highlight reel grabs though, so I guess it pretty much evens out.

Boyd has had fumble issues and has dropped way too many "catchable" balls. Might not be a 1st round pick the way I thought he was because of it.

Not on the play you're talking about. Throw was a fastball and way out in front of Boyd. Nobody catches that one. That's why Chaney was lecturing Peterman as soon as he came off the field after that.

Should be an interesting game today. Will be interesting to see if Sirk is out for Duke, as that could really help Pitt.
Example of needing to make plays when you have an opportunity-Moody dropping an easy INT with nothing between him and 6; Orndoff not holding onto a nice throw down the seam. Despite the hit he should've held that one, it was right in the basket. He didn't secure it

NEED EVERY OPPORTUNITY IN THESE LAST 3 GAMES, NOT ONE MORE MISSED OPPORTUNITY. NEED TO EXECUTE!

Two thoughts. Call me crazy, but I think a no-huddle approach would be more beneficial to Pitt. Not a full out spread offense, just a more faster paced approach. Also, at what point do you seriously consider throwing Voytik in for a drive?

I WOULD DO THAT NOW AGREE WITH YOU. WHITEHEAD AND CHAD SHOULD BE DOING SOME SWEEPS AND OPTIONS!

Peterman has been solid all year, this has been the worst he's looked since the first couple drives at Iowa with the 2 INTs. Voytik, Whitehead, and Boyd would definitely cause some problems for most defenses as well. As long as Voytik's arm is not too rusty from being on the bench all this time, I think it's worth a shot.

GREAT CATCH BUT GOOD COVERAGE TOO! THEY ARE RUNNING AND PASSING ON THE D, NEED A PICK OR FUMBLE, D LOOKS CONFUSED, AND RUN DOWN, WE NEED A OFFENSE DRIVE!!!
