Artie was the center last year and got hurt in the second game and missed the season. Officer took over and played well. In camp we knew one was going to play center and one guard. They decided to give Rowell his center job back and play Officer at guard this season. I don't know if that was the right move IMO, however I don't know for sure how good Rowell would be at guard, just that Officer is a pretty darn good center.
What is this announcer watching? He still clearly held Boyd before Boyd even continued his route into the endzone.
Agree. Peterman has a candy arm, weird release on those throws.

Holy sh%t is Boyd the luckiest person alive. He has put the ball on the turf waaaay too much this season. Awesome run, but very lucky at the end.

I didn't understand Peterman bashing in first half and still don't. Looks fine to me.
He had some bad throws, but is back to looking like he did on the first drive. Very solid this 3rd quarter. Some really impressive throws.
Duke definitely has some more points in them, worried they'll get that TD back on this drive. Come on D.

Got my vote. Unfortunately the allure of Notre Dame will be too much for Kizer not to win the award (as a redshirt though.) Their record also helps him out a little I'd say. No doubt though, IMO playing both ways as a true freshman is the most impressive thing you could do this early in your career.

Ok, we pretty much have this game won, so shouldn't be a big deal. But pitching the ball there is seriously even dumber than throwing the ball.

It all worked out in the end. I was a little skeptical about the Wannstedt firing, was pretty excited at first about Graham, and I thought Chryst had a really, really good offense. It was turmoil the past few years, but will be well worth it in the end!

This win should shut people up for a week. People were panic stricken we were going to loss 5 straight to end the season. My hope is we get at least one of these last 2 and end up 8-4. 9-3 would be fantastic tho
Ok with me, but I see us winning both. Won't be easy, but you've got to be the biggest PSU homer to think Pitt has not shown so far they should be expected to beat Louisville and Miami. No game is easy, but neither of those teams have a 5-1 conference record. We are clearly better right now than both of those teams, just need to execute in those games and finish off the season strong!
