That's twice Stevenson has picked up his dribble and none of his teammates made any effort at all to go to the ball and try to help him out.
Not a big fan of the early 5 out set we are running. All it is doing is allow duke to focus on the one cutter when the ball reverses
Agreed ... Coach is throwing him a bone. This season is about playing together as a team, getting used to the speed/power of the game for the youngins -- so giving Milligan some minutes to get Carr a breather, you got to do what you got to do. But agreed -- I dont know what Jamie Dixon was thinking when he brought him on campus -- he's a DII player.
We are shooting 63% from the field, 57% on threes, and 100% from the line, and we are already losing by 15 points.

I think the sad part might be that we are looking better and yet it doesn't matter

There were definitely some bright spots. Stevenson keeps getting so much worse though it's to the point where he does nothing but hurt the team. And Milligan, my god a team of all freshmen and he as a senior is by far the worst player on the team.
Progress doesn't matter? Not on the scoreboard today, definitely -- BUT if they can finish strong against the "most talented DUKE team ever", then it will matter in the future. Hoping for a solid 2nd half and some answers to some of the challenges presented. I know for a fact quite a few of these TOs are happening just so the players can master the flow of the offense. Over the next few games, coach has to continue to stress ball security - simple things like not passing off their back foot and coming back to the pass are amazingly lacking in some.

You know I'm trying more to refrain from commenting in-game with our basketball team because we are so awful and poorly coached that I would just go nuts over watching this. But this is so embarrassing. We look like a division 3 school out there, against we don't score for long minutes, etc...

For someone refraining from commenting, you managed to comment on us "being awful", "poorly coached", "embarassing" and "looking like a D3 school" -- keep planting those seeds of negativity lol
You are joking. Most talented Duke team ever? This isn't even close to one of their top teams they have had under coach K. They are talented but not great. Especially on the defensive side.
Yes, most talented is in quotes -- I didnt say it, if you follow alot of college basketball you've probably heard a few folks refer to this Duke team as the most talented. And maybe so, who knows -- I dont like to speculate -- but they do have 5 future guarenteed NBA players starting for them.
Love Coach K --- he knows how important discipline is for winning at a championship level. His team is hitting on the scent of blood in the water and going for the kill -- all while up 30.
