Once again, a very Smart Coach that knew his football told me once, most Games are won on by 4 to 6 Plays made by 2 to 3 Players. Pitt is now 1-2 doing just that, and against Top Programs, Coaches, and Players too. Pitt won by 3 points holding on in PSU, Pitt lost one with both Teams not scoring the last 8 minutes until OKSU did it, and Pitt lost one with 3 plays missed the last minute and last one the last 2 seconds.

For a Coach in Second year and 17th game working with Players that had 3 Coaches in 3 Systems, versus PSU Franklin's 5tn Year, Gundy's 12th year, and Fedora's 9th year, Pitt did good, they did better, but Narduzzi will get it done!

Game Plans on Offense just fine, Defense needs lots of work on covering, tackling and communication, and Special Team did the job, while Player Execution on Critical Third Downs was done by UNC and missed by Pitt Players in the 4th Quarter....that was the game and all 3 Games were decided by 4 or 5 Plays in the 4th Quarter in the last minutes and seconds. The key is learn from it and get better?
We shall see?

Excerpt:

“I was taking a moment in the hallway just reflecting to myself, trying to figure out what's going on and how we can get better,” he said. “I'll probably have something (Sunday), but today I'm stumped.”.....
Senior wide receiver Ryan Switzer, who helped beat Pitt three years ago with two punt returns for touchdowns, tied an ACC record with 16 receptions and finished with 208 receiving yards and a touchdown. “Is he a senior yet?” Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi said...........
Two plays before the final touchdown, Pitt cornerback Ryan Lewis knocked away a similar pass to Howard. Narduzzi said Lewis missed the decisive play moments later by “a centimeter.”.....
If it wasn't missing Trubisky with the pass rush, the defense was allowing too many easy completions to open receivers. Narduzzi said tackling might have been a problem for his team that has allowed 124 points the past three weeks. “I thought there was a little bit of tackling going on,” he said. “I'm not happy about that.”...........
“That is kind of looking like our weakness,” Price said. The offense ran for 281 yards, but it shares the blame with the defense. Pitt punted only once through three quarters but did so twice in the fourth quarter while nursing its lead. Quarterback Nathan Peterman shouldered some of the burden. He missed running back Qadree Ollison on an easy flat pass on third-and-4 early in the fourth quarter. He also misfired to tight end Scott Orndoff and wide receiver Tre Tipton on subsequent third-and-6 attempts, giving up the ball to North Carolina's potent offense. “Our goal is to have the ball in our hands and bring it in to coach Narduzzi in the locker room, and that's obviously something we didn't do,” Peterman said..........
“When you have 18 yards rushing, you are going to lose,” he said, putting special emphasis on the word lose. “When I look at what we rushed for — 281 yards — you usually win.” Pitt minimized the deep passes that Oklahoma State used to great success but had no answer for North Carolina's 17-play, game-winning drive. “They made enough passes at the end,” Narduzzi said. “Just dink, dink, dink.”.............
