This game reminds me of Pitt vs UNH in Dec '09 when the halftime score was 15-7 (or something like that) and we won 47-32

These refs are playing right into FSU's hands. They are allowing body contact all over the floor -- and that includes when Pitt is defending. We should have been called for a number of fouls as well.

All things being equal, that may have been the worst offensive half of basketball I've ever seen Pitt play. By some miracle, we are only down 5. Too much length for FSU. We cant even get a shot off. They are similar to Duke defensively and we cant do anything against that

We played the exact same way against Mississippi State and Duke... thankfully FSU isn't as good as those teams so we are only down 5 which is a miracle.

Second half will determine the season. If they play well and win I think this could be a positive turning point. More of the same and this team is in huge trouble.

That half of basketball, if you want to call it that, was putrid. If Pitt wasn't playing I would have turned this shit off long ago. This team is in a serious funk. This next half is going to be key for us. If it resembles the first half, this team is headed for 500 or less in conference. If we recover, perhaps we get it together.

Do you think I can convince the new AD to pay me half, heck, one quarter of what Capel is being paid to just stand on the sideline and tell Lowe, Legget, and everyone else on the team to go one on one every time down the court. I can certainly do that.

I will even tell them to remember their days playing basketball at their local park. No offensive game plan necessary.

Is it too much to ask to have a coach that can make adjustments? This is the 3rd game in a row where that is not working.
