Not a good game by Pitt tonight... no matter what happens in the last few minutes. Disappointing play by the bigs

Does anyone think that Hinson looks all that much more in shape than last year? Maybe a bit of weight loss... but no obvious improvement in muscle nor any better jumping or quicks. Dude should be taking his fitness ALOT more seriously
Blake had some great, completely unexpected passes on that possession. He could really use his ball hog reputation to his advantage sometime.

I mean, yeah good on him for causing Pitt to miss 14 free throws and shoot 28 percent from three. This was mostly on pitts off night shooting, nothing chambers did.

That’s a good win. Pitt wasn’t going to blow that team out by 25. They almost beat a good Indiana team as has been discussed.

Indiana sucks this year and they were missing IT. FGCU sucks too. We had an awful night shooting. Could have blown them out by 25 easily. They missed 14 FT. Make 7 of them and they are up 19. Make 2 more threes (they only made 8 of 28) and that is a 24 point win. This was a poor Pitt performance. One they could have hit 100 again.
Don't think we've seen a frosh come in and make such an immediate impact since Big Fella.
Your right when you shoot 56% from the line you shouldn’t waste a minute on it .
Pretty sure that Fede may have started last season dreadful from the line as well then really turned it up.
Defense is inconsistent. Some really decent plays, then brain farts.
They've got to practice the FT's!! If they have to, practice them after practice. But they've all got to make them. They don't call them "free" for nothing. Take what they give you.

If you think spending time at the limited practice times they get doing free throws , instead of working on defense , zone and press breaking , and literally any thing else .
If there are 20 things to practice , FTs would should be 21st

Obviously you aren’t going to set aside a large chunk of time, but make it a competitive situation at the very end of practice.
No arguing that Blair was special , but this kid looks like he’s a future NBA star . The last freshman I saw that had this impact on me was Charles Smith .
He can really get into the lane with ease. He is our Burton this year. Really nice player.
