I never bought into the self loathing ynizer mentality that Pitt couldn’t recutting or win big time. All those excuses made during The end of the JD era and especially during sleepys era were total bunk

All you have to do is hire the right coach who can sell all the great things pitt has to offer and the sky is the limit

Lots of work left to do but if Capel can attract these kids coming off a disaster season where the program was a laughing stock can you jmagine what hell do once they have some success?

Again hate to rub it in (well I don’t but where are all the negative nelllies who said Pitt can’t recruit top kids and sleepy should have been given more time.

I for one never thought Pitt could attract a coach that could be a difference maker . All the credit goes to Heather and anyone else involved in the hiring process .

Not saying Capel is paying these kids, but even if he is, who cares. Winning will be well worth the sanctions 10 years from now.

Lyke did her job for sure! She can now focus on other things and stay as far away from Capel as possible.
I believe this is how Capel will operate as HC of PITT basketball which is a good thing!
