At this point, I don't think anyone should be offered a P6 scholarship if they arent a consistent 3 point shooter unless they are elite in other areas. The game is just a 3 point contest nowadays. You need to make 3s and defend the 3. Do those things and you're nearly there.

Kind of random, but the ACC player of the year, Alondes Williams or something?, averaged like 6ppg at Oklahoma. Wake hit the jackpot with him, so you never know really. Sometimes coaches/programs get lucky and here's one example of that.

Honestly, if I hear Capel talk about trying to emulate Wake Forest (who is going to the NIT) one more time I’m going to puke. Alondes Williams is like a unicorn. That never happens. And Wake had more guys than just him, and an excellent coach.

This EKU kid is going to look a lot more like Sterling Smith or Monty Boykins than Alondes Williams lol. Hard, hard pass.

If you have an entire team full of guys who cant shoot, why would you recruit another bad shooter. I'd go to D3 and hire some unathletic dude and stick him in the corner so he can knock down an occasional 3 rather than a kid who shot 31% on a 5-11 A-Sun team and average 1.6 assists and 1.7 turnovers. This wouldn't even be a quality pickup for Duquesne.

Hell Mo Gueye was a 1 out of 250 guy. Doing this and expecting those results is not having investments and a 401k and expecting to hit the lottery to retire. It happens but........................................................
