Pitt handles adversity and cares for their Recruits & Players! Boy, I Am Proud Of Pitt!
Triblive Excerpt;

“Each of these young men are very passionate about the game of football, and our heart goes out to them,” Narduzzi said in a statement. “Although they will not be able to play this fall, each of them will remain an active and important part of our family. “They are, and will always be, Panthers. We are going to make sure they continue to benefit from a University of Pittsburgh education and being an important member of our football program.”

Glad to see Pitt continues its history of doing what is right in these situations.

George Hill is a very fortunate young man that his condition was diagnosed before he played any college ball. A nephew of my wife died playing Div 3 basketball due to an undiagnosed cardiac condition that wasn't picked up in, what was, a couple of decades ago, a routine college sports physical. It seems the physicals are much more thorough today for college athletes--certainly at Pitt they seem to be.
