Yesterday's game played out exactly like the Marshall game last year. Remember, we had a 27-0 lead at halftime, only to see us flounder and nearly give away the game in the second half.
But thankfully, Jester Weah made a highlight catch for a TD to let us breathe, and then the defense picked off a Marshall pass at the very end to clinch it.
Sounds like yesterday, doesn't it?
Obviously we need to do a better job of keeping our foot on the gas because we aren't deep enough to play conservatively with backups and expect to win.
