Pitt Non-Conference Schedule

5 Teams are Sub-300+ and then add in North Florida who was 272nd in the country last year. 6 teams worse than 272nd last year should make for hopefully padded much needed wins.
As we have seen in the past, we cannot look past anyone until proven otherwise. But under any type of normal circumstances, we should have 6 "almost free" wins a lone with this.
That leaves West Virginia, @ Vandy, @ Northwestern, and the legends classic.
The team should shoot for 9-2 and a long shot at 10-1. Michigan looks like the only tough game preseason against a legit NCAA tournament type team.

a few months ago. Now
however, the team make
up has changed. We now
have a backcourt that
is obviously VERY
experienced and with
decent talent and
depth. The addition of
Johnson makes it
even a better backcourt.
Most posters months ago
were posting 7 wins on
here. I obviously haven't
seen all of these new
players, however I do
feel the backcourt can
hold it's own in the ACC.
I believe Hinson is key.
If he can give us strong
inside play, this group
can really improve last
year's overall record.
I don't predict until I
see em in real time,
but I do believe we can
do better than 7 OCC
wins.

Parker Stewart will have his jersey retired before the game on Nov. 7. Nice gesture by Pitt.
