Pitt one of 25 fastest rising programs

Listed by Yardbarker on MSN homepage. Don't know about credibility of source, but it is a nice accolade from a neutral medium.
 
That sounds really great until you realize there's 64 P5 teams. Add Notre Dame, and maybe a few AAC teams and there's like 70 programs worth anything. Now take out Alabama, tOSU, Michigan State, Oregon, Clemson, etc and being 25 out of about 60 isn't noteworthy.

Hopefully they see Pitt amongst the top 5 fastest rising programs. If they had a QB, I think they would be considered right there with probably Houston and Louisville at the top. Coincidentally, both do have the QB.
 
I'm with you mvk. My first reaction to "one of the 25 fastest rising programs" was that there aren't even 25 rising programs in D1 football at any given time, let alone enough to separate them into "fastest rising" and "slower rising".
