Last year of all the troubles Pitt had in pass blocking, I believe the biggest failures were in picking up the blitz. Straight up, wasn't as horrible as it seemed, just that teams saw failures in Pitt picking up blitzes, and really exposed that. On the straight up, take away what Bookser let through the swinging gate, most of the rest was fine.
