I am going way back in time to like the 1920's when PSU refused to play Pitt after taking some major beatings year in and year out. Then in the 1980's JoPa said he would not retire and leave college football to the likes of Jackie Sherrill. Then later JoPa decides not to play Pitt at all because they moved up in the world to the Big 10. We were not worthy! PSU leaders and fans said they would no way play us in a home and away series because PSU can put 107,000 in their stadium. King JoPa wanted a 3 home and 1 away for the Farmers. As for WVU, they turned on the Pitt and Eastern football when they should have joined Pitt in the ACC. Big mistake going west! Now they need some close to home games to cut travel expenses and get more exposure in the WPIAL. Let's get the Irish on the schedule every year, get an SEC team on the schedule every so often, mix in a West coast trip sometime and move on. So as for PSU (they will never agree to a home and home series) and WVU, let them come begging. Until then, let's win an ACC championship and get a big bowl win. H2P!
