Pitt to launch its lacrosse program on Friday vs Duquesne

All their weekday home games have to start at 4 or 5 so there done for the Riverhounds Youth and Senior team practices. Highmark is a nice venue for this type of team but its certainly not ideal to be renting an off-campus stadium to play weekday afternoon games.
Are these games on ACCNX?
In the article it says that the first 3 ACC home games will be broadcasted.
I thought all Pitt home events got AT LEAST the no-announcer/cell phone video camera treatment?
The article didn’t comment on any other games. It’s possible that others will be broadcasted too.
If only Pitt had put out an article a couple days ago about television coverage for lacrosse games that could have cleared all this up.

If only Pitt would list the TV networks on the team's actual schedule on their own website. I don't search for lacrosse articles to find TV info, I go to the schedule where that info is supposed to be.
The info was just released at the end of last week. Give them a couple days before you start bitching that some piece of new information that came from a different source hasn't been updated over a weekend.
They couldn't have an intern type a few letters? In the grand scheme, its pretty meaningless as no one was going to watch any but if you're going to make a big deal about the new program by doing a media availability and the PG story, you should probably let Pitt fans know the games are televised by updating the website since they'd probably get as much traffic from curious folks like me in the next week as the rest of the year combined. And its still not updated.
Curious folks could have just looked at the original story in the first place.

I wasnt bitching. I asked if the games were televised and you acted like the first place someone should go to to find out if a game is televised is some paragraph at the bottom of a random lacrosse article that they have to hope is on the website at the exact time they want to know. Its a lot more convenient for fans to list the networks on the actual schedule and you know that.
Actually, I think that if you are looking for television information for lacrosse games the PERFECT place to look for it would be the article that was written specifically about television information for lacrosse games.
The notion that it was more convenient for you to click on one link on the web site rather than a different link on the web site is really goofy, even for you.
No. People do not search websites for articles, hoping there might just be one that tells you what networks the games are on. People don't think "man, I'd like to see what channel this team will be playing on this year, let me see if anyone posted an article on the website which will tell me." No, they look up the schedule because that's where that information is supposed to be. And you know this.
You could offer your services to handle this vital task.
Anyone on the planet who has used the service industry over the last couple of years to any level knows quite well the lack of what was once called “common courtesy”.

What I know is that for some odd reason you seem to be proud of the fact that you wanted some piece of information that was easily and readily available, and yet for some reason you couldn't find it.
Some people might be reticent to admit to something like that, but not you. You want everyone to know that you couldn't find something that was exactly where you'd expect it to be.

Well, I just finished watching the first period, and there is little exciting about it. Pitt appears to be faster. They are able to outrun Duquesne defenders to get the ball from deep in their defensive zone to the offensive zone. When there, they are doing nothing with it. It appears players make cuts and flash through the scoring area, but they don’t get the ball to them. Understandable since this is their first game.
Pitt has had 4 free shots from the 8m line after a Dukes foul. Scored once. The Dukes have had one and scored on it. They got a second on a great individual play and lead 2-1.
Dukes now 2-2 on free shots. Pitt 1-6. Dukes lead 3-1. Announcers have mentioned 3 or 4 times that Dukes are getting most of the 50/50 balls.

8-7 Dukes with 5 minutes left. Pitt took first lead of the game at 7-6. Dukes have last 2 goals. Difference is the goalies. Their goalie is far superior. Think Fleury vs DeSmith.
I’ve never watched Lacrosse before, but I think I’m a fan. That was pretty exciting
