After the North Carolina game I thought this line would be a little bit higher.

I understand that Louisville is not a juggernaut this year but I expected a
higher line. Usually, I would think this is a sucker bet to draw in the public
money to Louisville. But, for some reason Pitt bucks a lot of betting trends.

Will this team respond after the big loss. Will the freshman settle down and
play tonight? Frame needs to hit some outside shots and Pitt needs
to hit some 3's tonight

I agree...seems like they were pressing to much against Carolina.
If they relax and play their game, they can pull the upset. Then,
like you said, the monkey is off there back and every ACC win
after that is gravy-compared to the Stallings era

I think Pitt can beat this Louisville team. Its the least talented Louisville team I have seen in many years but they still have talent and a great coach. I think this is a sucker's bet because I think they give Pitt too much homecourt advantage when in reality nobody will be there.

The Zoo is one of the worst student sections in the country. Just because they came to games during the Glory Days and people hype them up doesnt mean the current Zoo doesnt suck.

I agree, SMF. During the OOC schedule, there were more ushers than Zoo members at the games. But I don't want to beat a dead horse. They haven't proven anything yet and I think they're all talk and no action. Arriving for the UNC game while the game is midway through the first half isn't a good look. But you'd have to be at the games to really see how bad it is.

I hope the rest of The Pete is more filled and jumping. That's where we have to count on making noise and intimidating the opponent.

Unfortunately, it’s snowing, so that provides a convenient excuse for the rest of the crowd. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t expect more than 5,000 there tonight. At least we’ll have empty seats around us to put our jackets on!

It really is a weird line and one should resist the easy chose/Louisvile
(Ex Iowa state favored vs ranked Kansas last wk.) Everyone had Kansas.
Linesthatdon't make sense Hit 70% of the time, going against the grain.
Todays the same type/game @ 2.5,=+3.5 currently. But as we know
Pitt does not follow the trends,and as someone mention earlier how
much pressure is on this team to win an ACC regular season game.
That may haunt this teams performance tonight.

I don't understand the need to make these comments. Why would the Zoo NOT suck? The program sucks.

Why would we have 1200 students eager to watch the 23rd or whatever straight conference loss? This is a goofy opinion. When the Pirates sucked, the fans sucked. When the Penguins sucked, the fans sucked. That's how sports work.

We had a game last year with fewer than 1000 fans total. Everything sucks. Students who are now seniors have seen Pitt 0-1 in the NCAA tournament.

Instead of berating the students, thank the ones that are actually trying to turn it around, like the original crew back in the Fieldhouse.

Props to The Zoo, they were awesome tonight! Rest of the crowd was pretty sparse, but we were also pretty loud. I had almost forgotten how fun and stressful these games could be after the last two years of misery. What a blast!
