Uh, do you really think that this Pitt team is academically superior to the players of MSU? Pitt would take any of these top 8 in a second, regardless of academic ability....
if anybody attempts to convince me the ACC and SEC are even on the same planet after these last two days, I am going to drop an avil on your foot.
First Pitt hoop game I’ve watched this season.
Might be a while before I tune in for a second one. Maybe it’s just a very off night, but….No physicality, no athletes, can’t rebound, can’t defend, can’t beat anyone off the dribble, etc. Brutal.

This game is an anomaly. Just like Pitt destroying a WVU team that went on to beat Gonzaga. Just one of those nights. Pitt isn’t this bad and MSU isn’t this good.
Just on defense? I don't recall many more pathetic overall performances than this. How is Kante any worse than this dude or the Bohemian Bricklayer?
This isn't just an off night. The difference in physicality is startling.

Corhen, Diaz Graham and Amadou Kante: 30 combined minutes, 0 total offensive rebounds, 1 total defensive rebounds.
I said that before last game but then along came Papa. Corhen is at best, an average rebounder, and a low-level rim-protector. We give up more layups than any team in college basketball. Its free paths to the rim for everyone.
The defense without Dunn is really really bad. Cant keep anyone in front of us. Then we have no rim protection. And no rebounding. All that said, we play in the ACC so we'll be ok.
If we played them 100 times they would never have less than 2 fouls in a 1/2 of basketball. This is a bad matchup all the way around
Men against little boys. Miss St is just man handling Pitt. They just want it more and Pitt looks soft as charmin The last hoop is a microcosm of the entire game. Miss st just out physicaled and out hustled Pitt

Our 6'7" plus players are weak and 220 pounds. Miss St has players capable of building muscle and putting on man weight.
Pitt doesn't have the talent to overcome the disparity. Apparently most teams in the ACC don't.
Should have stayed home and read more about there NET ranking. After this SEC / ACC challenge maybe we should be a 1 bid league. What a disgrace. We may have 2 good guards, but this may be the softest Pitt has ever been on the inside. We need Dejuan and Chevy tonight and we got Corhen and diaz-graham.
probably 2-3 ncaa bids for ACC. Duke, Clemson, and Pitt/unc. Dunn needs to get healthy. Players need to fight on plane ride home and get things right intensity wise. Fire crapel. The last times we posted similar complaints thry turned things around. I’d honestly throw down on long halftime odds for Pitt.
Defensive rebounding has been a weakness against any team with a pulse. Need to fix that if they want to make the dance
