Again, how do you go inside when you have no one to finish? We were on a nice run in the first half and had a 6 point lead when Fede got eaten alive on what should have been a dunk. Also Lowe through him a nice oop pass that any decent 7 footer would have smacked down, but he couldn't get it. Our inside guys are just too weak to matter at both ends. This team needed Papa Kante, I am at least certain he would have helped at the defensive end. Fede is starting to remind me of Terrell Brown.

Fede can and will be better.

The Brown comp is borderline ridiculous.

Fede can and will be better.

The Brown comp is borderline ridiculous.

It is when you think back to last year and I believe his defense was the impetus for us to get off to the great start in the ACC. We weakened down the stretch after he was hurt, and he hasn't been the same since at the defensive end. He was a real presence in there, not lately. Think back, Terrell Brown blocked shots and probably rebounded as well as Fede. Fede was better at catching and finishing, but not tonight. I'm not saying Fede is TB, just saying there were times tonight where I was having a bit of Deja Vu.
