Very young team with lots of room to grow. They will be erratic for a while.

Took a bit for me to adjust to the new 4 quarters rule, though I do like it better.

Wise's shot didn't fall tonight, but I was taken by her defensive feel, especially in transition. Patient - works her opponent into weird situations because she doesn't over-commit.

From the stream, Bradley looked like she could be a nice player. Needs to get stronger, though.

I want more from Carey.

Only got to see a few minutes of the game - during which Pitt looked awful - but the final boxscore is pretty bizarre. So besides Kalista Walters, the rest of the team made 16 shots and missed 40 shots. Yikes. Like what if Kalista had missed the bus?

I was especially surprised that Kalista would have a game like that so soon after she looked every bit like a hesitant and overwhelmed freshman during the women's blue/gold scrimmage.

I hope to get to the Pete on Friday to see the women play Delaware State.

BTW, Chelsea Welch, who mysteriously disappeared from last year's team near the end of the season, transferred to Wright State...
