Just read a Trib article about the stipends that the p5 schools will start to pay. They are all different and all over the place! Absurd, but they are calculated locally, by doing polls, etc.
Bottom line, PSU gives $4800, Pitt gives $3300! WVU quite a bit less. PSU, highest in the big10. James from State College quoted in the article saying This is Great, I can use this in recruiting!

Just like the NCAA to set up some kind of BS system where some schools will have an advantage. This is just plain DUMB. Set a figure for all p5 schools and be done with it. How does this not give certain schools an advantage?
