Poll: who do you want to play in Charlotte?

For me

1. Wake - worst team of the 3 and have no fans. Easy choice.

2. Clemson - we match up well, Justin Ross is done, and they have great fans

3. NC St - we don't beat them in anything and I dont like their fanbase. More similar to WVU than Clemson.

As we know, Wake is in a with a win. If they lose and NC State wins, NC State is in. If they both lose, Clemson goes.

NC State is the team we match up best with. We can stop their tailback and out offense can easily outscore them. Clemson's talent is always scary and Wake game will be a shootout.

Wake's D is horrific and they play Jurkovec. They're only favored by 4.5

Agree with matchup. The team that has the potential of the least amount of passing yards against our D. It seems any QB with a decent arm puts up career yards. SO NC State it is.

I honestly don't know. I think it's between NC State and Wake. Clemson seems to be catching a bit of fire, so I'd rather not deal with that. I was thinking Wake coming into this week, but that Virginia game promptly reminded me of just how helpless we are against the pass at times. Maybe Wake's line isn't as stout and we can disrupt their game a little more with pressure. Tough call. I do think it would be REALLY cool to beat Clemson twice, and that would definitely produce the best environment... but they wouldn't be my choice.

I dont want to play a road game in front of 50K drunken NC State fans. Would rather share the night with 50K classy Clemson fans

Wake NC State would be a tough out as we never seem to play well against them and their QB is under rated in my opinion. They have great receivers. Clemson doesn’t scare me but it’s tough to beat them twice and I think they are peaking right now. I’ll take my chance in a shootout with Wake hoping our defense can make a few big stops and our offense should be able to score 45 on them. I think if we played all 3 ten times we’d split with Clemson and NC State and beat Wake 6 times
