Eliminate Biden from any example because he clearly was declining in his ability to speak and answer questions. If we had the Biden who ran in 2019 he would have won re-election.
His staff imo also were terrible and did him no favors. It was all over when in 2022 he kept touting Bidenomics when 3/4 of the country thought the economy was in bad shape. Just awful strategizing. It looked like Biden was out of touch with most of the country.
Andy Beshear is hugely popular in ruby red Kentucky, he would be a great nominee.
My worry though is can Beshear win in Democrat primaries? There is this far left faction that still don't get we need someone in the middle and they're gonna be pushing for these far lefties.

You obviously get your statistics from some site in space and not the real world. We have given Ukraine $110 Billion in aid since February 24, 2022. Trump says $350 Billion so at least you didn’t accept his lie. Of that $110 Billion, 71% was for weapons systems and other equipment manufactured by American companies. It either came from new procurements or from existing stockpiles. A lot of that were for weapons systems that were better than those the Ukrainians (and Russians) have but were being mothballed in the US because our technology has passed them by.
The F16 fighters we sent, for example, are two generations behind our current top fighters, including the F35. We sent them HIMARS systems which remain excellent but the warheads we sent them are two generations behind current models both in range and in explosive power.
When the war started, Russia said it would take Kyiv within a week and conquer the entire country in two weeks. Take a look at a current map. Russia took control over one large Ukrainian city which they hadn’t been occupying since 2014, Kherson. They were driven out in 2023. They got to within 16 miles of Kharkiv which is 35 miles from the Russian border. They have been driven back beyond the border. They have lost 60% of the land they seized in the first two weeks of the war.

With a population three times the size of Ukraine’s they have had to hire mercenaries from Cuba, Africa and Asia and bring in North Korean troops to try to slow down Ukraine’s counterattacks into Russian regions adjoining Ukraine. Ukraine still holds most of that territory.
