I dont like it. We need people who can shoot and don't turn the ball over is what I'd be looking for.

There will be many possible transfers discussed in the next few months. The biggest need has been and continues to be a lack of an ACC quality post player or two. IMHO, if we had one this season would have been very different and players probably wouldn’t be leaving because they are frustrated and tired of losing.
Pretty sure that 43% number is his overall shooting. His three point numbers are awful, as well as his TO numbers at 4.5 TO’s per game. That said, there’s a reason why he is sought after by many schools. I just don’t know what it is. Maybe it speaks to the state of the transfer portal at the current moment. I’m sure that will be changing.
Green Bay has their top two scorers transferring. Hopefully Pitt takes a look.

I am struggling to find which good player is going to want to come to Pitt.
Exactly this. Pitt isn’t a destination for top recruits or transfers. We get the scraps. This is where Capel needs to sell the crap out of Pitt.
Capel will need some luck to get an under the radar player or two. I just don’t see how he can sell good players to come with all the red flags of players leaving and the fact the team will probably be pretty bad.

Top characteristic we need to be looking at is character and coachability. If they have that, along with D1 level skill, then we should be looking at them. I want to see some high character guys, good teammates, and leaders. Im sure we have those on the roster now but it only takes a few malcontents to spoil the bunch. A few more of those would go a long way to bringing some stability and improvement to this program.
I think a logical place to look for transfers is to take a look at kids that maybe Pitt recruited in previous cycles and, for one reason or another, are transferring from their old school.
For example, I wouldn’t be surprised in the slightest if someone like DJ Gordon hit the portal. Same with someone like Aidan Igiehon or Aundre Hyatt. You also have some of the kids with Pittsburgh ties like Carmody.

Did not have any facts. Only read the online report. That is where I got the info. I have never heard of him prior.
I don't think this is a priority for HCJC, or at least it doesn't seem to be.
What can he offer apart from playing time? It’s himself and his staff he has to sell.
Agreed @Saboteur ACC, PT are almost it. Guys are transferring, no NBA guys (yet hopefully), no momentum, bad record, etc.
