Jurkovec looks awesome. Switching down to secondary wr's, finding the open man. Incredible TD pass on the first drive. Suck's he always dreamed of going to ND.

Jurkovec as a Junior is light years ahead of where Pryor was as a senior.

As far as Carrigan, he's switched to 71 and is playing LT today. My guess is that it's due to injury and him filling a void for the team.

Carrigan is going to do a lot of blocking at Pitt, regardless of which position he plays.

Jurkovec is the real deal, he's a HUGE loss for us.

Well we never had him so it's not a loss. But there is time to flip him. ND with all their arrest and playing in a crappy tiny town in flat freezing Indiana. I think he grows up and sees what is important is family and your home. Wearing some sacred football jersey of yore of a fake Irish school is just silly when it comes down to it. Every Pitt QB that had any talent and even some that had no talent played in the NFL including one of the best ever.

He didn't look good after getting a few hits on him. His second half was pretty putrid.

Bad moves by Kasper. Gotta kick the FG from inside the 10 to make it a 2 score game and he stopped throwing it downfield in the 2nd half. Good game to watch though. Phil is the real deal.

Carrigan looked good. He is a 3-4 star recruit. Good size and athleticism. 6-7 245lbs and plenty of room to grow.

That is a pretty heavy statement considering Pryor was the number one player period his senior year. I did not come away thinking, "damn we really need him to come to Pitt"!

That's what the coaches look for in a HS player that they are eyeballing as a future OT. Good feet, atnletic ability, and the right kind of frame-one that can carry 315 without a belly.

Jurkovec is a better QB prospect. Pryor was a freak athlete, but would have been better served playing WR in college.

Anyone saying PJ is not better than TP were fans infatuated with TP's athletic ability...which is phenominal. DW told TP he should play WR at Pitt, and TP didn't like to hear that. Guess he should have listened, his NFL earning would be a lot higher.

PJ throws a much better ball as a Junior than TP throws today as a pro and it's not even close. How many Junior qb's do you see going all the way down to a 3rd wr? PJ has it and if he came to Pitt....he'd start right away.

So he is good at progression. How many games did TP lose? When the game was big Pryor led his team to victory. Arm strength is not a competition, athletic ability not a competition. Again I did not come away thinking damn we missed the next Darnell Dickerson.


Did you IMG play?? They have the number 1 dual threat QB, really big gap between him PJ. PJ was throwing to wide open WR, he did not exactly jump out the screen.
