Pitt IMO will be ready to play tomorrow regardless of who wins the GT / FSU game. I think the players all know what needs to be done this week and will come out and play inspired ball for 40 minutes.
Pitt needs a better Federiko tomorrow as to me he has seen his defensive pick n roll coverage and offensive game go south. Diaz Graham twins may need to see an increased roll early and often tomorrow.
Speaking of going south.... Greg Elliot really needs to find his shot tomorrow. This team goes as their shooters go and Elliot will be a key factor. They need a 3-6 / 4-7 kind of performance from 3 from him.
IF we come out with a victory tomorrow, I'll be very interested for the matchup with Duke. While I don't think they match up well down low with Duke, I do think Pitt found some major rhythm against the Duke defense when they played at Cameron. Someone like Nelly Cummings could be critical to carrying this squad through this tournament.
