Press Conference.....Before and After.

Too early to say. NCSU is one game. Losing 2 of your top 3 scorers that you expected to have returning next year is a big blow to the program. There is no way to sugar coat it.
Doubtful they will be better without them , but they weren’t winning with them ! Might as well go to plan B since plan A wasn’t working and bring in new blood .

Turns out not imploding
We lost to ncsu by the same amount without x and Toney as we did with them

How about not at all imploded based on the results to date
I understand being modern day catastrophist appeals to plenty on the internet
But it solves nothing
The truth is - our team hasn’t imploded
We’re just thinner but someone always fills the void .

you’d this after the past 15 years or so - some would learn .

The sky is always falling on these boards. Been that way as long as I can remember. I hate to lose Toney, but this simply sets the team back a year. My concern here is how Capel mishandled the press conference.

I've gotten texts from other teams' fans asking WTF is happening at Pitt. It's a bad look. Call it whatever you like.

Yes. It does look bad and will be used against Pitt in the recruiting wars. That much is a reality regardless of the real reasons (whatever they actually may be) for the transfers.

And nothing at a press conference changes anything
It’s silly

When a perspective recruit would question why players left the program if I was JC the answer is simple , we want players who put the teams goals first .
