Purdue fired Ryan Walters and is expected to cost about $9 million in buyout and now leaves three power conference jobs open: Purdue, North Carolina and UCF.

I’m moderately surprised. Given the amount of the buyout and the fact he only got 2 years I thought there was a chance Walters would survive. They were just so bad this year and I’m sure yesterday didn’t help, just didn’t really see a school like Purdue being this aggressive.
