Has any player under Capel and this staff progressed?? Any of significance??
His first class of McGowens, X and Toney, came in with such great promise and talent. None of these guys progressed any further than their play that first year and stagnated and transferred.
Champagnie was good from the get and left after his Sophomore year.
Femi came on with promise, then stagnated and transferred.
Transfers like Hinson, JB, Nelly were pretty much finished products when they got here.
Hugley started like a potential star and then got into legal issues and transferred a few times.
The twins were so raw but showed some promise but they never progressed much further.
Bubs was great and left to the NBA after 1 year.
Lowe looked like he was going to develop into an All American, but again stagnated and even regressed some.
Ish regressed this year.
This staff has been together now 7 seasons and really have not made anyone better players. Am I wrong on this???
