Question for Jim Hammett

I saw in your coaches comparison you had Capel ahead of Pastner in the coaches comparison. Tell me what has Capel ever done? I will give him kudos for the one year with Blake Griffith. And those was done with some mitigating circumstances. But other than that his record seems fairly thin for me. I'm not saying Pastner is ant better. He was overrated coming out of Memphis. But it seems like Capel is the ultimate case of Peter's principal. He is an best served as an assistant coach at a top program with a good coach. If Champaigne leaves, he will never make the tournament at Pitt. Yes he recruited Justin to come to Pitt, but who else. A pair of mecurial players in Johnson and Toney. He has elevated the program. After Stallings a zombie could have made upward progress. The near future looks bleak. I just don't understand those who see Capel as a good head coach.
