And some food for thought: would you rather take the Romeus/Sheard duo or Weaver/Jones duo?

man, tough question, was a big fan of them all. not that this answers your question but if it's late in game, the opposing team is driving, it's 3rd down and long (or 4th down and long) and we need a sack to "clinch" the game, i want E. Price on the field.

If i was in a bar fight in the south side, im picking Sheard..

Maybe another "Other" option was Knight. He was really good too, until i think we moved him inside and basically ended his production.

speaking of sheard and romeus, i was at fatheads one day eating and in walked those two. this would have been when they were both playing at pitt, cant remember if Romeus was hurt yet or not.. you couldnt pick two different looking players. Sheard was so tall and looked skinny, you'd have guessed he was a forward on the hoops team more than a DE.

Meanwhile sheard was much smaller, maybe 6' or 6' 1" tops, but looked like a tank.

It’s a shame that Romeus had his senior season derailed by injuries. IMO, we might’ve won the Big East that year if we had him healthy + peak Sheard.
