Can anyone name a running back that looked mediocre their freshman year but developed into a great one later in their career? In my time watching Pitt, I haven’t seen it. The great ones like Shady, Dion, Ray, and James all looked the part their first year. It seems like if they’re going to be a good one, you will at the very least see them flash right away.
