Syracuse can do that because they can get 20K-30K for basketball. Pitt basketball playing in a dome, even if they set it up with a configuration like the Carrier Dome would be horrible.

Pitt should build a smaller 8K-9K arena somewhere in Oakland and tear down the Pete and build a stadium.....in maybe 10 years when the Pete is 25 years old.

If PITT ever tackled a project of this magnitude....they would NEVER.....EVER......build two separate venues. It would be a multi purpose facility where the attendance could be controlled.....

It would not be ideal....but would be better than our situation today

Lol not a troll I’m a fan of PITT never made a profile til today been on the site since 05/06 but was just thinking why couldn’t they just do the same as a squad like Syracuse Carrier Dome it woulda made more sense
