Its too early to expect bball to do great But if he gets recruits and team shows improvement ... helps get that great D HC fired!

I hope not. I hope pitt fans learn their lesson here and at least give him a chance. The second he loses some big ACC games the “fans” will be calling for him to be fired

-Ill guarantee that doesnt happen this year
I don't think this is accurate, but maybe you are being facetious. The second he loses some big ACC games the “fans” will be calling for him to be fired
That’s a freakin joke, right? Pitt fans learn their lesson?I hope not. I hope pitt fans learn their lesson here and at least give him a chance.
If Capel turns Pitt into a top 20 program in a few years then he will be an “A” option once Coach K hangs it up at DukeI don't think this is accurate, but maybe you are being facetious.
He certainly has a much better pedigree than Duzz.
I am hoping Capel is the coach at Pitt for the next 30 years.
I sure hope he wants to stay if he does that.If Capel turns Pitt into a top 20 program in a few years then he will be an “A” option once Coach K hangs it up at Duke
Sign me up for that plan. If it means Pitt is back to nationally ranked then he will have done his job here.If Capel turns Pitt into a top 20 program in a few years then he will be an “A” option once Coach K hangs it up at Duke

Yeah, this stepping stone stuff is stupid. If Capel, or any other coach, comes here for four or five years and is so successful that a top program in the country wants to poach them from us that's a good thing.
No top program wants to poach a Narduzzi. None of them wanted to poach Wanny. Or Walt. Or Hackett. Or Stallings. Or Ralph Willard. And so on. There's a reason for that.
Unbelievably dumb post from someone desperately trying to excuse the disaster has created in the football program. The second he loses some big ACC games the “fans” will be calling for him to be fired
