Hopefully our coaches thought the guy is subpar for our purpose and coordinated with our boosters accordingly to not throw in any significant Nil money that direction. Otherwise it’s not the greatest sign if it were something different (lack of money offered or even worse, more money offered, but was still declined, for the rarest of entities, a local prospect we genuinely wanted).

Pitt football and basketball don’t exactly provide many tremendous euphoric recruiting moments in recent years, that’s for sure.

No biggie on this kid as he isnt going to be a major contributor until Year 3 and there will be 50 of him in the portal. But we definitely arent in the NIL game like others like WVU.

Mike White reached Lavar levels of fawning over Parham in his lengthy article on the commitment. Mike is probably more Red & White (north hills) than blue & white as I believe he still coaches basketball there.
