Biggest problem with this defense. All of you complaining about getting pressure.....you can't get pressure on a 2-3 second release of ball. We are getting destroyed over the middle except for 1 long pass that Rudolph broke some tackles and threw a great ball to a guy covered by......you guessed it, a SAFETY.
corners are playing decent considered who they are covering. D line has gotten some pressure. LB's continue to shoot wrong gaps against the run and then when they are in position they're missing tackles.
Whitehead saves us 1 MAYBE 2 touchdowns today with his play. But we are stuck with Webb...ooops I mean Briggs, Garner and Jazzy Jeff. None are doing much of anything other than getting completely turned around in coverage and miss tackles.
I think the CB's and D-line are doing ok all things considered. Jesus shit, can't believe I just said that. Oh well, New Mexican restaurant down the street to try tonight. Not all is lost today.
