I want to do away with scheduling mid majors like Marshall. We have nothing to gain and everything to lose.
That being said, I have no problem playing cupcakes like Villanova, YSU or any FCS team. Reason being is that I like that it provides them with money to fund their athletic departments and 99% of the time, it's a glorified scrimmage. Stupid Paul Chryst and suspended D bags.
Now I'm going to contradict myself and say I don't mind the games vs Cincy. I still view them as a power 5 team.
But I'd rather commit to the big boys BECAUSE WE ARE ONE OF THEM. PSU WVU and ND are always first choice. But I love playing a big 10 team in Iowa and PSU, big 12 with OKSt and WVU, SEC with Tenn.
If PSU is gonna dodge us, let's get games against Wisconsin, Arizona St, Maryland etc.
