You were informed correctly. There are still 1-2,000 seats left.. and the SRO is another option. Looks like it may sell out and the SRO will provide a cheaper alternative.

According to some posters, 10k tickets are still unsold and Notre dame is gonna bring 20,000 fans LOL.

Probably a lot of PSU guys that bought season tickets that prop us up. Figured I'd get that out there early because we all live under the illusion that people want to see Pitt play. (sarcasm in case you can't see that)

Two things that always seem to happen, people freak out about attendance for these games like a week in advance, and also freak out about recruiting in like May.

I just wish people would figure out that things happen up to the deadline/gametime. Relax.

It is a big deal... all the greats coming back. I dont know if this has happened in a LONG time. CLEARLY!!!! The Pitt greats like what Narduzzi is doing here.
