I've watched him at MSU for 3 years. Big and fast, but lacks instincts and fluidity. Misses tons of tackles. He's a better athlete than football player.

Yet many on this board insisted that he was a can't miss & we needed to sign him....The kid does have natural abilities but he does not appear to like the necessary contact that goes w/ football.
Mich St. is a whole lot different than what ya find on the Gateway practice field. Just saying that regardless what a 17 year old appears to be in H.S. does not mean the whole maturity process will follow him to college.
He still had a somewhat impressive college career in that he saw plenty of time at a very good football school but he did not approach the level so many insisted he was destined for....Shai McKenzie, Dravon Henry were 2 others that dissed Pitt that at the time seemed unforgiveable yet 3 years later does not seem nearly as tragic. Henry I admit is a player who I think still could live up to his expectations but time will tell.
