Goodman said it. He has no inside access to Kentucky. He wasn’t even eligible to get NIL at the time. He will make around 600k this year. The most of any player. The next best is around 400k. Those are all league players and the ROI is not there. Nowhere near anything you said where third team guys are getting 1 mill.

Most would be >50%. Most of us are not making a lot of noise about it, but if Pitt named Sean coach, I believe greater than 50% of us would see the hiring as positive.

I believe it would be around 90%. To not welcome a Miller hire, you'd either a) have to be old and b) remember and hold a grudge that he left Pitt and took Archie with him. There arent many of those fans left.

I like hiring guys with a track record of being successful at similar type programs.
SMF wants to find PITT’s Mike Young but wants to hire a guy whose only been at the Kentucky of his conferences.
And has had #1 seeds and been to Elite 8s. Elite jobs? Yes. But he had elite regular season success.
So if Duke or UNc opens, he should be a candidate. Not if we want to find someone who can win here though.
Of course no blue blood will ever touch him after the disaster of a tenure and underachieving at Arizona.
