I've been to Paris three times in the past 10 years. Yeah, perhaps near the outer ring (18th and 19th arrondissements) isn't so nice. But if you can't see the beauty of Paris in the majority of that wonderful city I don't know what to tell you. Well, actually I do know what to say. I'm sure the gulf coast of Alabama would be right up your alley!
Palace of Versailles and that area is certainly interesting. Outer rings are cringe. And downtown, over the course of two days, I saw three naked men passed out on the sidewalks and honestly think one was dead. That’ll leave a lasting impression, I don’t care who you are. And in this case, my daughter was a bit shook. Too many other beautiful areas of Gods creation to visit. Paris isn’t one of them. No need to go back.
Visited Paris about 10 to 15 years ago. Wasn’t that impressed honestly. Preferred the country side and Normandy. One of the most moving experiences ever visiting the cemetery and point de hoc.
Sadly Paris like other liberal cities (Ny, Chicago, San Fran, La) etc have become third world shit holes. What do they all have in common

Hell - we drove to Chicago for my son’s spring break- and had a terrific time .

My home got robbed while my family was sleeping upstairs. He then Took all kinds of items and used our car to haul it all away. That person then went across our alleyway and raped our neighbor. It's all simple to a simple man like myself. Jesus already won. The war is decided. Whatever mess God puts us through before then is for our own good and refinement. Say your Divine Mercy Chaplet and Rosary, go to confession a lot, receive the Eucharistic in a state of grace as much as possible, pray a lot, and don't worry. This is the path to being at peace with things as much as possible.
Now this is not to say be apathetic about it. We've had saints drive out Muslim hoards from Europe before. If somehow a crusade materializes by all means join it and support it. But much more important is to fear not man but God.
