So, most people on this board have low expectations for Champagnie and say we just took him to have a body. I should also add that these opinions are based on one high school game where he went up against a 5 star. Anyway, he is listed as 6’6 on the official website and lists himself at 6’8. Lets just assume he’s 6’7 for now.
He is probably going to play the 3/4, but would be undersized at the 4. The thing is, he has a huge Afro that adds at least 2 inches to his height. If a power forward is posting him up, he’d not be able to see over the extra inches of hair. So with hair, he’s 6’9/6’10. My question is, if he wanted to cut his hair, would the staff approach him and stop him from doing it so he could guard 4s?
