NOt a D! RB.......too slow......highlight film was less than impressiveIt is true that he committed to Cuse and Pitt did change late and offered him at RB which is why he reconsidered.
The coach he committed to previously is now at Cuse so it's no big shocker.
For years I wondered why anyone would ever consider playing football at Syracuse. Around the mid-2000's they dropped off rapidly. But last year I think they really started to turn the corner slightly. I think we'll have a pretty good rivalry with them again, it looks to me like they're putting together a fairly decent program again.

I liked the kid, shame we never offered him at RB. If hed rather go to cuse over pitt well, that's his problem
Do you have proof of that?
Last I saw just a week ago is we havent
I know it's true. Don't feel the need to prove anything. Use google or search Twitter.
I did. .. nothing
You mean right around the time Rutgers and UConn started taking football seriously, just a few years after Pitt started taking football seriously again, and SEC schools started recruiting PA/NJ?
Probably not a coincidence. And SU made it exponentially tougher on themselves by replacing Pasqualini with Greg Robinson.
They just shitcanned their whole coaching staff. I don't think they're on any kind of upswing. Never been a football school despite a couple of remote brief shining moments mostly due to the excellence of Donovan McNabb and Don McPherson. For years I wondered why anyone would ever consider playing football at Syracuse. There's some stuff out there. Not being a wiseass - but I didn't just pull it out of my arse. The kid was only gonna play RB and that's the ONLY reason Pitt got back in the picture. The offer RB offer was late and his coach where he was previously committed is now at Cuse so between the 2 I assume that's why he ended up there.
Calling bs there. But hey the kid originally verballed to western mich so he isn't exactly brimming with confidence.
Good luck to him he is no longer a Pittsburgher

New coach, QB impressed me somewhat, and some games against good teams that they put up a fight. I'm not talking about them really being a great program or anything, but I think they could win 6 or 7 games a year in the near future. Of course, they have had years recently where they made a bowl game only to fall apart the next season so we'll see.Not tryin to be a wise ass but based on what? They have a new coach. Again. Now I don't follow any recruiting other fun Pitt's so maybe they have a good class and that's what I'm missing. But I'm curious why you think that.
Oh god lol. Greg Robinson definitely set that program back quite some time. Great point about the other things, probably not a coincidence, you're right there. But I don't think that changes the fact he just was a really bad coach. You mean right around the time Rutgers and UConn started taking football seriously, just a few years after Pitt started taking football seriously again, and SEC schools started recruiting PA/NJ?
