SIAP: Edsall back at UConn

He is a horrible coach and hated by about everyone when it comes to high school coaches. Good hire for UConn.
Pasqualoni was loved by HS coaches. And thus began the complete and total collapse of what was becoming a pretty successful FBS program.
Few UConn fans are delighted with Edsall's return. It's not the splash hoped for. But if given a choice of Pasqualoni, Diaco or Edsall, Randy would get 100% of the vote 100% of the time.
I know high school football coach in Connecticut and he hates Edsall with a passion. He hated him the first time Edsall was at UConn and was delighted to see him leave.
I kept thinking of that dude when I saw the news break that Edsall was returning to UConn and I want to call him or shoot him a text but I'm gonna let a few days pass first. I'm sure he's delighted over the news.
He just thinks Edsall is an arrogant jerk. It's really no more complicated than that. Apparently, he had some sort of ugly incident at a statewide coaches' clinic a few years back and my buddy never forgave him for it.
