With Pitt likely to lose all the rest of their games with the dream of maybe beating BC which of these options do you prefer.

I voted for a new coach. That wont happen because of the buyout. But its not my money. I have seen enough of Narduzzi. Season tickets and attendance will be at all-time lows next season if he's back.

If you are Heather force an oc on him and hope he quits and with his ego he might. Then offer him a role as an admin stretching his salary and hire Jeff Lebby or dream msu hires him.

He's owed too much money to quit. Perhaps she could talk him into "retiring" and accepting an administrative position to golf with donors or whatever Majors did. Maybe at half his salary or whatever but its better than a buyout after next season.

He would have to have two straight seasons of 1-2 wins at minimum before he got fired. Look at how long they gave Capel and he hadnt won a conference title in the last five years.

No one would come to games and we would recruit in the bottom 10 if this staff is even remotely the same. This might be the worst P5 team in college football. And I guarantee the offense is the worst

You guys seriously underestimate what’s going on. If Pitt wants to go in another direction buyout will not matter. Especially if season ticket sales will suffer.

No one will be coming to Pitt homes games the rest of the year. All Lyke has to do is look in the stands and see 50,000 empty seats. No other league will want a team that goes from 10 wins in one year to maybe 1 win a couple of years later and gets maybe 20,000 for home games, and that includes the band and team.

Go for the root causes. Bad head coach and staff and very poor talent that is getting paid to win.

None of those choices are any good.

Duzzi comes back with a new OC and a multipurpose QB.

The best answer would be this: plant drugs, guns and a suitcase of cash in his office. Call the police. Fired for cause, and it would all make sense all of a sudden. He has to be on drugs to keep doing what they're doing on offense, right? Nobody would even question it.

Maybe we can go back and fire him for cause due to his thugs comments about Miami.

If they can't beat VT, they're not going to beat BC or anybody.

We've gone from ACC Champions to 1 - 11 very quickly.
This is why it’s time for Narduzzi to go, you are suppose to progress not regress, he reached his best in 2021, now he going the other way back down

depends on who the oc is. They need to be a college oc who has developed college passing attacks that score well.

No Luke getsy or alex van pelt or Mike Shanahan (college yes but his is a mostly run offense)

They need more than a new OC. Most of, if not all, of the offensive coaching staff needs an overhaul.

No way HL is getting rid of Narduzzi right now. She just gave him a huge extension. Firing him now would be a public admission that she f'd up on the extension. Throw in that HL now has a new boss and the last thing she wants is to have to deal with a huge contract buyout. Could you imagine the conversation between HL and Gabel?

<HL> - Nice to see you again Chancellor Gabel. I want to have a chat about something.

<CG> OK, fire away

<HL> Remember when you were first hired at Pitt and we met to discuss the state of Pitt Athletics? Remember how I told you that we had a great football program and a great coach who had just won 20 games over the last 2 seasons and that coach loves Pitt and we want him to stay forever so I gave him a big raise and a long term extension?

<CG> I sure do remember that discussion.

<HL> Well, actually I was kidding about the part that we want him to stay forever. Now I think we need to can him and the buyout is going to cost us something like $35M. You good with that?

<CG> No problem Heather. I don't give a sh*& about football anyway.

I was going to say that. And she was probably too wrapped up in making sure we screwed the basketball program over as much as possible that I doubt she remembers any football conversation with Heather
Original thinking was that “she’s coming from a Big Ten school, she’ll ‘get’ the importance of revenue sports”

Starting to look more like “she fled Minny because she couldn’t stand the Big Ten obsession with revenue sports”
