It people can tithe 10 percent to church then they need to donate to Pitt football. If a bunch of unemployed people can donate grassroots to Bernie sanders, they can donate to Pitt football. We just need to unite folks.

Our church has an average attendance of 600+ and there is 3 services Saturday and 3 on Sunday. Can’t speak for the Pittsburgh area but here in Fulton County Georgia we do

I fully support the actual participants getting paid when the schools are raking in millions of dollars because of their efforts .

Funny how the schools have found a way of funneling money to the players without it costing the schools one cent .

Pitt boosters can find enough money to compete in bb , but Fb is a lost cause .

This is pretty weak from most of the responses here. Nobody is saying you should let your kids starve or not be able to turn on your electric. Just give $20 a month. It’s a minor sacrifice…

It’s no wonder we are a mediocre program.

It's about priorities. If these professional college players can't do better than this, why should anyone give them a nickel to keep losing? I'll give my money to a cause where I see a return. To do otherwise is stupid.

I’m glad the kids are getting money. But it does feel grimier by the day.

As for contributing - I’m out as I’ve said before. I’m sure some are gonna tell me I’m part of the problem, but any donating I do will be to far worthier causes.

Bickell and other heavy hitters are free to do as they wish with their money, but I can’t fathom giving that kind of money for athletics. But I guess for those whose priority is college football it’s a must.

There is a revival happening. You might not see it now but it is happening. My church Christian life church in Penn township has seen an increase of 40 percent in the last six months. Mostly individuals in 20-30 range.

This org as well as the Pitt AD need to be made aware that not only will there not be MORE money donated, there will be LESS, if there isn’t an immediate change in OC (anda 180 in the offensive philosophy) the very moment the season ends. The very moment. The firing actually should happen TOMORROW, but def immediately at the end of season. If it doesn’t, not one freaking dime, to the school or to its puppet NIL outfit. Because without this change, giving ANY money would be throwing good money after bad. A radical change in offensive is needed … OR ELSE.
