Can’t imagine how awful last year was for them, and they all contributed today.
Brown was fantastic, Chkuwa made some big plays late, Frame hit a couple shots, Davis made a big 3, and Ellison for all his faults didn’t allow an offensive rebound on their last 3 when we had no bigs in the game.
The freshman are great, McGowens step back 3 is gonna make him a lot of money someday, but for the returning guys...just have to be so happy for them.
Hope to get NDir back soon, and let’s give an Iowa type effort on the road Saturday. But this was a gutty win. That’s a decent LVille team, and young teams don’t typically win one in OT like that after the late collapse, esp with both Centers out.
