As I was reading your reply, I was unconvinced after the first 10-11 exclamations points, just wasn't buying it. But that 12th exclamation point was quite convincing, I now agree.NOPE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think he'd get an NFL Head Coach job. His ceiling is OC in the NFL and not even sure he can get that full time, he's just interim for the rest of the season. I could see him taking a college HC job so he can sit in the #1 chair, he's very ambitious.Only way he considers college if he can't land a job in NFL - no one in there right mind would go from NFL to college to deal with all the NIL bullspit every year
yeah, talk about tucking your tail between your legs and getting slapped down a few levels. id almost rather be unemployed for a year and wait for something in the nfl vs making the dramatic leap off a cliff..Only way he considers college if he can't land a job in NFL - no one in there right mind would go from NFL to college to deal with all the NIL bullspit every year
Wouldn't rule out a blue blood.
If you think his ceiling is as an OC, then he can definitely get him head coaching job in the NFL because that’s all they seem to be looking for now. Our head coaches that have offensive coordinating experience. If he was the OC of a team where the offense was a top 5 offense he would definitely get offered a job at some point. Heck he’d be a good head coach here. He can recruit!!I don't think he'd get an NFL Head Coach job. I just worry about his age as it pertains to the NFL. Oddly, the NFL seems to favor younger coaches even more than college these days. They hire OCs, but they want the young whiz kids. I think only 11 of the current 32 NFL coaches are 50+. And almost all of them were hired before 50 and/or had previous NFL head coaching experience (both Harbaughs, Tomlin, Reid, Payton, etc.). There aren't many 55 year old + first-time head coaches in the NFL anymore. If you think his ceiling is as an OC, then he can definitely get him head coaching job in the NFL because that’s all they seem to be looking for now. Because when I look at a guy like Bruce Arians using that formula they would’ve missed on a Super Bowl winning coach…… I kinda think that being an older coach but actually be an advantage as opposed with disadvantage, but I guess you’re right because a lot of teams wanna hire young but i think the money is in the longtime assistant.I just worry about his age as it pertains to the NFL. I know Beatty recruited Addison, but who else did he recruit? I think Hammond also, who else?
