What happened to the "recruiting restrictions"?the irony..Lol!!
Paul Zeise "not pleased".![]()
I am telling you there is something extremely shady about these Drews recruiting like blue bloods at places like Baylor and Vanderbilt. Something isn't right
What happened to the "recruiting restrictions"?
Paul zeise is a complete moron. He was on the fan last night saying he could see this team winning 4-5 ACC games.
No kidding college sports, basketball especially is all shady business.I am telling you there is something extremely shady about these Drews recruiting like blue bloods at places like Baylor and Vanderbilt. Something isn't right
Nicely done. They are coaching our team
Anyone ever think that maybe Vanderbilt decided they couldn’t win and loosened up their recruiting ethics ?
There’s too much nonsense in recruiting with too much money at stake . Think of the money Pitts bb program is bleeding this yr , would it be worth 100-200k to have two 5* on Pitts roster and the Pete filled ? Until everyone plays by the same rules it’s tough to judge .
Yah think? Of course there s something "shady" - just like Pearl got Heron to come to Auburn.I am telling you there is something extremely shady about these Drews recruiting like blue bloods at places like Baylor and Vanderbilt. Something isn't right

Alternately the “great recruiter” you raved about is actually terrible and blamed Vandy’s “restrictions” for his own failings.
God we know men like that never do anything wrong !.
Heresy. Bryce Drew is a devout man of God.
All of a sudden Pitt landed Curtis Aiken. Followed by Charles Smith and Gore , then Lane then Shorter of course it was all on the up and up . One elite recruit ok a class full to a small school in Tenn. which is a school of extremely high academic standards . It’s possible , but highly improbable. You're really reaching.
Keep telling yourself that was all done legally...haAll of a sudden Pitt landed Curtis Aiken. Followed by Charles Smith and Gore , then Lane then Shorter of course it was all on the up and up . You just can’t win without talent no matter how good your coach is .If vandy loosened their restrictions before us we're even more doomed than I thought.
Yep. We need to do what it takes to actually bring in top talent. You just can’t win without talent no matter how good your coach is .
A reason most bb players wouldn’t really want any part of their academic program .Vanderbilt is one of the best schools in the country. It is known as the Harvard of the South, in the sense that it was well funded as an alternative for Southern elites to have a top university in the South. You cannot underestimate its prestige.
It’s interesting you assume so much , you know what they say about people who assume ? Ask any athlete at a P5 school how much of their time is taken up by their sport , now your going to a school where the average SAT scores are over 1500 ( 2 parts not 3 ) and your an average student . An average student with no athletic responsibilities to that school would’ve a very difficult time surviving in as rich of an academic environment Vanderbilt is . So would Vanderbilt be a good choice for an average student athlete to go , absolutely not . Would it be a great school for a gifted student athlete , absolutely . Now if that’s racist I’m guess I must be a racist . As far as stupid I think you have that covered .Fsgolfdr: "A reason most bb players wouldn’t really want any part of their academic program."
The NBA and NFL find players no matter where they go to college.
My post about Vanderbilt is accurate, but it was also the forum-thread equivalent of a trick question. It is no surprise that you are the first person who would jump in head first with a stupid and implicitly racist reply.
